Ring Of Honor, 8/28/2010 Charlotte NC
First of all let me start by saying, if you haven't been to a live ROH event it is a must for a true wrestling fan, I can't think of a better way to spend 20 bucks and get every penny of it paid back in entertainment. that being said here is my review of the event they had in Charlotte NC this past weekend.
In our opening competition we see the always exciting El Generico facing off with Erick Stevens of The Embassy. This match was sprinked with each wrestlers signature style with the lucha style of Generico and the dirty playing heel moves of Erick Stevens and his manager Prince Nana. In the end it was Generico who came out on top by pinning Stevens after hitting his infamous Brain Buster.
The second match of the evening was between living legend The King of Old School Steve Corino facing off with ROH wrestling school graduate Bobby Dempsey. At first I was like "who the fuck is Bobby Dempsey" but I quickly realized exactly who he was, Corino's jobber for the night, he worked the match well and it was a very entertaining contest, but then again every time Mr. Wrestling 3 is in the ring it is guaranteed to be a great match. Even though Bobby could use some conditioning the match over all gets a good rating from me. Needless to say Corino was the victor.
Next we see Necro Butcher accompanied to the ring by Prince Nana, in a butcher's rules match with, the Worlds Smallest Jobber, Grizzly Redwood. This match was fun, not exactly the nights most technical competition but that was to be expected of the Necro Butcher, who defeated Redwood.
Our fourth match of the evening featured everyone's favorite funny guy in wrestling the ever talented Colt Cabana going head to head with TV Champ Eddie Edwards of the American Wolves in a non title match. The match started out with a laugh as do most Colt Cabana matches, but it was no joke. Much like the crowd the match was back and forth between Edwards and Cabana from start to finish, with Eddie Edwards coming out on top.
The fifth match took us to six man tag action between the Bravado Brothers with Cedric Alexander vs The Man Scout Jake Manning Caleb Konley, and Marker Dillinger, in which the Bravado's and Alexander won.
Next was two future World Champs, Roderick Strong and Kevin Steen facing off in a very entertaining competition that include Eric's sign getting ripped up by Steen and a guest appearance from El Generico. In the end it was Strong who was the victor and he will go on to face Tyler Black for the World Title at Glory By Honor September 11th on iPPV.
Tag Wars finals, The Dark City Fight Club, All Night Express, Kings of Wrestling, and The Briscoe Brothers. This match was one of the finest displays of tag team wrestling I have seen since...well the last time I saw Ring Of Honor in Charlotte. This match was contested as an Ultimate Endurance Title Match, which is an elimination style match in which each fall has a different stipulation. The first fall saw the elimination of The Dark City Fight Club, it was a four corners match meaning two men were legal and could tag anyone from any team. During the course of the first fall we saw Mark and Jay Briscoe tagged in at the same time during which they had to make contact and compete against each other they then tagged in both Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero of the Kings of Wrestling where they had to do the same thing eventually ending up with with DCFC being eliminated. The second fall was Texas Tornado which meant all men were legal no count out, during this fall we saw the most competitive tag team action...EVER, with Jay Briscoe being busted open dawning what good ole JR would call "the proverbial crimson mask" the fall ended with The All Night Express being eliminated by the Briscoes. The third and final fall was a quickie Scramble, in which the Kings came out with a successful title defense after Hero used the loaded elbow pad to take out Jay Briscoe.
In our Main Event of the evening we saw ROH World Champion Tyler Black in a non title match against Davey Richards of the American Wolves. Before the match, after the sea of "You sold out" chants referring to Black's decision to make the move to WWE via the NXT show, Jim Cornette came out and tried to persuade Tyler to make it a title match, to which Tyler Black denied. This was a high quality match of epic proportions that really displayed every type of wrestling you could dream of, from technical mat wrestling, with Black and Richards going hold for hold with each other, to high impact high flying dives. At one point in the match everyone was on there feet watching in suspense as Davey Richards attempted to superplex Black from the corner post to the outside of the ring, but no such luck for us expecting Anti-Black fans, Black reversed it into the ring. After stealing Black's finisher not once but twice Richards made Tyler black tap out via ankle lock.
well that covers it, good bros, good wrestling, funny signs and yelling obscenities at the guys we didn't like, a great night. ROH returns to Charlotte on January 15th, I strongly suggest you don't miss out on the action.

Time Limit Draw
I'm on here today to talk about something that I think is underutilized in today's wrestling, the art of the Time Limit Draw. Sure you might see one every now and then on TNA but they are always few and far between, which is better than over done but I'd like to see it used as it is meant to be used, as a tension builder in big feuds. Lets use for instance a feud between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe, just for example purposes, the first match would end in AJ winning using some underhanded cheap shot in true heel fashion, the second ends with Samoa Joe on top. The third match, in order to set up the rest of a best of five series should end in some sort of draw, being that these guys are great, great, performers in the ring the best draw for them would be the Time Limit Draw. Picture it a match with near fall after near fall, with nothing but high impact wrestling between each near fall. it would be the perfect set up for a no DQ no time limit match and of course, call me old fashioned but the feud would end in a steel cage match. but back to the point the time limit draw is not used to its full potential these days.

DREAM MATCH: SABU VS DOUGLAS WILLIAMS
In his days with ECW Sabu had many feuds and many of great matches, but no feud sticks out in my mind(other than the one with RVD of course) more than his feud with Taz. Taz was/is the master of the suplex, and a technical mat wrestling god. Where as Sabu on the opposite end of the spectrum was based more in an ariel attack, focusing on high risk maneuvers and throwing himself at his opponent. So needless to say it was a perfect match up, two conflicting styles with a very good psychological angle, and the matches speak for themselves.
Now Douglas Williams being a modern day suplex machine would be a logical opponent for Sabu in TNA's EV2.0 vs Fortune angle simply because its the closest thing to another Sabu vs Taz that us wrestling fans will ever get, if you disagree you aren't a true fan of great matches, you are a bullshit excuse of a wrestling fan.
Examples
and for Douglas
its hard to find TNA PPV matches so you'll have to settle for that

The Monday Night War 5/3/2010 Part One: We Surrender
On last nights episode of TNA Impact Mike Tenay Announced that Impact would be moving back to Thursday night, I don't like it but hey if it helps keep them on air I agree with it.
The show got of to quite possibly the best start ever, when Jay Lethal aka Black Machismo came out not doing his usual Macho Man impersonation instead doing a much funnier and very dead on Ric Flair impersonation, as he had posession of The Nature Boy's Hall of Fame Ring. This of course envoked a reaction out of Flair and his faction of bad guys which ultimately led to a brawl with some of TNA's top talent, including AJ Styles Desmond Wolfe Beer Money Inc. RVD Team 3D and of course Lethal is still involved in it, until hogan comes out and lays down the law(sweet little cameo by Phil Shatter) and makes the matches of the night.
The first actual match of the night was Brian Kendrick and Doug Williams facing off against Ink Inc the team of the Punk Princess Shannon Moore and Jesse Neal, the match had your usual high performance for the superstars of the X-Division in which Moore and Neal come out on top. after the match Samoa Joe came out and laid out everyone.
Then in another one of TNA's funniest spots Mr. Anderson came out dressed as an alter boy talking smack about the pope after laying him out backstage, and Jeff Hardy came out challenging Anderson to a match at Sacrifice in which Anderson declines but Hardy knocks him out strips him of his gown and makes him accept the challenge.
Tna Knockouts/Knockouts Tag Team Title Match: The Beautiful People vs Tara, Sarita & Taylor Wilde
Tara and Lacey start, Tara controls early but Lacey gets a spinkick. Sarita tags in and sunset flips Lacey, but Lacey makes the tag to Velvet Sky. Velvet tries a charge on Sarita in the corner, Sarita gets the boot up, and gets a flapjack for 2. Sarita tags out to Taylor and suplexes Taylor onto Velvet for 2, but Velvet fights her way free and tags out to Madison Rayne. Taylor goes to make the hot tag to Sarita, but Tara tags herself in. Sarita is upset by this and tags herself in, causing Tara to turn around and nail Sarita, then lays out Taylor as well and follows her out to the floor as the Beautiful People drag Sarita back in and hit a double DDT for the win.
Winners: The Beautiful People
Motor City Machine Guns vs Beer Money vs Team 3D
Sabin and Roode start the match with a fast paced sequence, then Storm and Shelley tag in for another fast paced sequence that ends with Shelley getting a 2 count on Storm. Trust me, it was too fast to recap. Shelley tags out to Devon, who nails Storm with a clothesline for 2, then beats him down in the corner. Roode gets a boot to the back of Devon from the outside and tags in and starts putting the boots to Devon. Tag back out to Storm and they hit a double suplex and then do the Beer…Money gimmick before covering Devon for 2. Beer Money work Devon over and whip him into the corner, but Storm misses a charge and Devon clotheslines Roode, then makes the hot tag to Brother Ray, who comes in and cleans house on Beer Money. 3D does the Whazzup, a joke which died an obscure death ten years ago, and then Hall and Nash rush the ring and attack Team 3D, drawing the DQ.
No Contest
Eric Young comes out with a kendo stick to chase off Hall & Nash and then, predictably, nails 3d with it instead and does the Too Sweet handshake. The MCMG come in and clear out all three members of the Band, but get nailed by Beer Money, who hit the DWI on Shelley as Young puts the boots to Brother Ray. This show is just falling apart more and more by the segment.
Here's the part of the show where shit gets gay, Orlando Jordan... I'm not gonna say anything else.
Then Aj Styles and Abyss face off in a monster's ball match. AJ jumps Abyss on his way to the ring and tosses a trash can at Abyss, but charges Abyss and gets backdropped back into the ring. Abyss wedges a chair in the corner, ducks a chairshot from AJ, and levels him with a big boot. Abyss grabs a crutch (funny how crutches always seem to become a foreign object in these kinds of matches. Are there just a lot of cripples hanging out backstage at wrestling shows or something?) and takes a swing at AJ, but AJ ducks and hits the Pelle kick, then stomps away at Abyss in the corner. AJ comes off the ropes and Abyss just presses AJ about seven feet up in the air and AJ comes down hard. Abyss dodges a leapfrog, rams AJ into the chair in the corner, and hits Shock Treatment for 2. Abyss goes and gets the thumbtacks and pours them in the ring as Flair brings Chelsea down to the ring and tells her to take her clothes off. Chelsea seems really upset by this request and Abyss tries to defend her, but AJ nails him from behind with several chairshots and then a springboard crossbody onto the thumbtacks for the win.
In the main even RVD takes on Desmond Wolfe. Wolfe jumps RVD before the bell and viciously works him over at ringside and again back in the ring. Desmond with a charging European Uppercut in the corner and goes for the Tower Of London, but RVD blocks and reverses a whip across the ring, but Desmond catches him in the corner with the kick/forearm combo for 2. RVD starts firing back, but Desmond with a hammerlock takedown for 2. Wolfe rams RVD into the corner and then does the RVD pose, but when he charges off the ropes, RVD goes up top and hits a flying jump kick and Rolling Thunder, then tries the Five Star Notebook Splash, but Desmond crotches him and goes for the Tower Of London, then changes his mind and goes for the Tower Of London on the apron, but RVD fights out again and hits another jumpkick and they’re on the rampway. RVD backdrops Wolfe back in and hits the Five Star Frog Splash for the win.

Monday Night War Part 2: WWE RAW 4/26/2010
On last night's episode of WWE RAW, the 2010 draft took place with the suplemental draft happening today at noon. The draft saw John Morrison R-Truth Edge and Jericho switch over to Raw and Kelly Kelly The Big Show and Christian over to Smackdown. It also saw many of the best matches on Raw in I don't know how long, because all of them were more than five minutes long.
In the first match of the night we saw the Unified Tag Titles change hands as The Hart Dynasty accompanied by Brett Hart defeated the former champs ShowMiz in a very entertaining opening contest. After the match The Big Show knocked Miz out with a very big right hand square in the jaw.
Then in Divas action, Michelle McCool and Layla took on the team of Maryse and Eve. From the beginning Eve and Maryse had problems as a team which ultimately cost them the match in what was probably the best diva's match since the days of Trish Stratus Vs Mickie James.
Our third match displayed two of WWE's greatest talents The Straight Edge Savior CM Punk and Evan Bourne. The match was very intense and a good showcase of both men talents but however I think the match would've better suited to take place in ROH the match ended with a mystery man stopping Bourne from doing the Air Bourne and helping CM Punk hit the GTS and pinning Bourne.
Ted Dibiase came out on top of a 10 man interbrand battle royal featuring some of RAW and Smackdown's most promising talent as well as some familiar faces.
Then Jericho and Christian faced off in singles competition, a very competitive match in which Jericho was the victor defeating Christian by countering a high risk maneuver into the code breaker.
Jack Swagger beat John Morrison in the rubber match of the series of matches between the two and probably the last seeing as how the two are on different shows now, the match was a very physical and intense match that lasted a good 20 minutes which is long for RAW.
Hornswoggle defeated Dolf Ziggler by count out after the match Ziggler put hornswoggle to sleep with the sleeper hold.
Batista came out on top in a triple threat match against Randy Orton and Sheamus after Randy Orton was speared by Edge.

Monday Night War Part One: Impact 4/26/2010
The night started out with Hulk Hogan coming out to congradulate and introduce the new TNA World Champion RVD, and after the usual champ talk AJ styles came out and talked about his rematch and how it would happen on his terms.
The action started out with a Knockouts Championship match with the current champion Madison Rayne coming up the victor over Tara and Angelina Love after the match Tara and Angelina went at it in an all out brawl until security separated the two.
Kazarian retained the X Division Championship against "The Prince Of Punk" Shannon Moore after the TNA World Tag Team Champions Matt Morgan cost Moore the bout by pushing him off the top rope. Kazarian then hit a reverse piledriver for the win. After the bout, Samoa Joe came out and viciously assaulted the champion!
Then the team of AJ Styles and Sting went head to head against the two Jeff's, Hardy and Jarret, in a falls count anywhere match in which Sting and AJ came up on top
After this the Pope came out and talked about his match at Lockdown and his injuries sustained at the hands of AJ styles during which Mr. Anderson came out and challenged him to a match which exploded into a brawl in which Anderson dug his thumb into the already injured eye of Deniro.
Team 3D attacked and bloodied Syxx-Pac in the backstage area, putting him through a table and telling him to deliver a message of warning to Kevin Nash and Scott Hall! Team 3D hit the ring to take on Matt Morgan and Jesse Neal, but it was only a matter of time before Hall and Nash hit the arena to brawl with Team 3D! During the melee, Matt Morgan took his opportunity to annihilate his partner Jesse Neal with a chokeslam.
After this a brawl ensued between Neal and Morgan in which Morgan came out on top until The Punk Princess came out and took out the huge Matt Morgan.
In the main event of the night Ric Flair took on Abyss in a Ring Vs Ring match in which if Flair lost he had to surrender his Hall of Fame ring to Abyss and if Abyss lost he had to surrender Hulk Hogan's ring to Flair. Flair had used brass knuckles and won the decision until referee Earl Hebner saw the brass Knuckles and called for the match to continue and Abyss picked up the victory.

Content Update/Superstars Review
I have decided to stop reviewing Smackdown, the reason being that other than CM Punk and Rey Mysterio they are completely lacking interesting content. Also I am giving Raw a probation before I quit watching it.
In another episode of WWE Superstars that was better than RAW the company's main show we saw the action start with Matt Hardy facing off with Carlito, not a great match but it did keep my interest and give Matt Hardy a victory for a change.
Then in the second match of the night, Chavo Guerrero and Captain Charisma faced off in match of the week material with an exciting display of both superstars in ring ability, it ended with Christian coming up victorious after a really close competition between two very underrated wrestlers.
In the main event of the evening MVP and Ted Dibiase JR faced off in a very physical match in which Ted Dibiase hit the Dream Street and pinned MVP for the victory.

Top Ten Favorite Submission Moves
NXT 4/13/2010
Last night's episode of NXT was one of the most boring hours of television I have watched since I watched a whole hour of the presidential inauguration ceremony with my grand father back in 09, but I digress, half of last night's show was a challenge in which the 8 rookies were supposed to talk for 30 seconds about a random subject. It was stupid and a waste of time for them to do this on an hour long program this challenge made the first half of NXT nothing but commercials and bullshit. I had thought that since each of the NXT rookies are talented wrestlers and that the matches of the night were rookie vs pro matches they would make up for that boring half hour at the begining of the show, boy was I wrong.
The first match was Christian vs Wade Barrett which was entertaining but much too short, Christian defeated Barrett by pinfall after hitting the killswitch on him made possible not only by Heath Slater's involvement in the match, but Jericho's as well.
The next match was William Regal vs Daniel Bryan, a match that should have been a lot better than it was Regal and Bryan are both extremely talented competeters and should have had a great match instead at the end when William Regal pinned Bryan after a knee lift I said to myself what a rip off, and it was on free tv.
In the main event of the night rookie Darren Young defeated Luke Gallows of the Straight Edge Society and saved himself from the humiliation of being shaved bald against his will by CM Punk even though I personally wanted this to happen I think the WWE universe is adversly against anyone losing there hair except CM Punk which just proves that he is getting over as one of the best heels of all time, because no one likes Darren Young, and the fact that they hate CM Punk enough to cheer for him solidifies Punk as WWE's top heel in my book.

Monday Night War 4/12/2010
TNA Impact- Starting at 8pm again this week in a smart move to compete with WWE but not directly go head to head with RAW, Jeff Jarret came out and called out Sting claiming he was going to get answers tonight. Then preceded to search for him back stage and up in the rafters. He ultimately found him and knocked him down the stairs and the two continued to battle all the way to the ring, where he begged the question why. The lights went out in the Impact zone and when they came back on Sting had his signature baseball bat and beat Double J down until Jeff Hardy and RVD came out to aid their teammate and Sting retreated.
After this Ric Flair and the rest of team Flair cut a promo about the rest of the night and teaching team Hogan a lesson with Lockdown on the horizon for both teams.
The match ups be begin with Team 3d aka The Dudley Boys and Jessie Neal vs The Band aka The Wolf Pack in a six man street fight tag match. Team 3D seemed to be dominating at first with a var-age of weapons in the ring being used as only the Dudleys could and being sold as only the Bad Guy, Big Sexy and Syxxx Pac could. I have to say this was an exciting treat for me as a long time wrestling fan with to of the most prolific teams of all time going head to head, also seeing Scott Hall taking shots from a Singapore cane for the first time in my life was pretty awesome. Needless to say the match was entertaining but contained almost no technical wrestling as the crowd cheered for tables team 3D was glad to oblige them and put a period on this domination of a competition until Bubba TNA loves to waste money love sponge came out and caused the fatal error that cost Team 3D the match. After which Eric Young Came out and challenged Kevin Nash to a match at Lockdown.
When Impact returned from commercial break after this match Hulk Hogan was caught by Christy Hemi and made a few comments on Team Hogan when he caught Eric Bishoff with the enemy Ric Flair.
The second match up of the night would be an X division showcase featuring Kazarian and Shannon Moore, in a match that did what every X division match up does clearly define the difference between the talent in the WWE and TNA. As the two battled it out in a high impact fast paced match up, the two displayed great ring chemistry and tremendous skill. The only negative thing about this match happened before the match even started and that is that Shannon Moore is the Prince of Posers, there is no room for a Mohawk in the wrestling ring. Doug Williams came out and joined Taz and The Professor at commentary completely downgrading the high fly styles of Kaz and Moore. The match went the distance ending in a time limit draw. After which Williams stated he would put an end to their nonsense once and for all.
In Knockouts action tonight we see Knockouts Champion Angelina Love and Velvet Skye in a match in which Love was handcuffed. This was a pretty lame match compared to past knockouts matches. In the middle of the match it was declared an I Quit match, Skye commenced to pummeling Love being joined by her partners in the beautiful people when Tara came out and saved her from further beating. The match ending with no winner.
After the match they find Abyss who was apparently run down by a car, cliche.
Matt Morgan, who insist on referring to himself as two people, took on the Motor City Machine Guns in a defense of the TNA Tag Team titles with Amazing Red. It was a true David and Goliath match, with Morgan towering over everyone else in the match including his "partner" Amazing Red. At first Morgan was dominating, but the Guns turned the tables with their quickness which was in turn canceled out by red in a successful defense of the tag titles after which Morgan took out Red and said "my belts" like a spoiled 4 year old.
Next Jeff Hardy and Robert Roode went at it in singles competition. Aside from my wishes that hardy overdoses when he goes on his next heroine binge him getting the shit beat out of him is always sweet. Hardy won the match but after the fall James Storm came out and fucked his ass up with a fireball, ha it was awesome. RVD came out to help his team mate but was shut down by the DWI.
Because Abyss was injured by the car Black Machismo volunteered his service as the Pope's tag team partner in the main event, but however he was stopped by Beer Money on his way to the ring forcing The Pope to go into the match by himself against AJ Styles and Desmond Wolfe. But Wolfe was laid out by Hulk Hogan and his steel chair and the match took place as a singles match in a preview of Lockdown. AJ and Pope went at it in a match that appeared at first like it would be a good real match but was ended by disqualification when Ric Flair hit The Pope with the TNA World Title. Team Flair preceded to beat down on the Pope as the show came to an end.
WWE Monday Night Raw- Tonight's guest host for RAW was David Hasselhoff, he made a grand entrance dawning grand apparel and adding hoff to the beginning and the end of everything he could, however he is one of the most charismatic host Raw has had in a while. Announcing at the top of the show that Randy Orton would face the All American Speech Impediment at Extreme Rules.
In the first match of the night the diva's title was on the line in a match between Maryse and Eve Toures. Surprise surprise, this match sucked even with TNA having such a lame knockouts match it was still better than this, with Eve obtaining the Diva's championship.
Show Miz came out and had a bro-tastic moment in which The Miz proclaims that Show Miz is the best tag team in WWE history. Then Bret Hart came out and was talking about all the tag teams in his family. It was a bunch of boring bullshit and I honestly think Bret needs to crawl back into the pit he came out of and let the Hart Dynasty establish themselves as wrestlers. which leads to a match between the Miz and D.H. Smith in which if Smith wins the Hart Dynasty gets a shot at the Unified Tag Titles.
The Miz and D.H. had a good physical match up, in which the miz won by pinfall.
With the usual more talk than I care to listen to I spent most of the night fast forwarding between matches.
Evan Bourne and Carlito went head to head in a match up which was intesely atheletic but the usual quick match for the easily amused Raw audience. Bourne coming out the victor.
The WWE champion John Cena got his revenge against David Otunga in a match in which Cena showed off his entire impressive move set(jk) but seriously WWE has got to step it up. The match ended when Otunga tapped out to the STF, then batista turned on his spot light and the crowd chanted you tapped out.
I'm going to be honest I lost interest in raw before the end and decided rather than watch the rest I would fast forward and skip the rest of the review.
This week's raw was a severe disappointment TNA has the overall better product the war has been won in my eyes and I hope in the eyes of any true wrestling fan.

Smackdown 4/9/10
This week's episode of WWE Smackdown started out by filling in the fans that may have missed last weeks episode, RAW this Monday and Superstars yesterday about the new World Heavyweight Champion the all American speech impediment cashing in his money in the bank and beating Jericho. After this Swagger came out and started talking about deserving to be a champ, prompting John Morrison to come out and make fun of his speech impediment and preceding to call Swagger lucky. I smell a rivalry, as the two face off in singles competition showing off both superstars athletic ability. Apparently the WWE has adopted a new policy to clean up blood during matches to keep the match safe, which brings to mind which WWE superstar has a blood born disease. The two continue to have an entertaining yet low paced match but it does however drag out into a boring over drawn match as Swagger hits his signature gut wrench powerbomb and defeats Morrison by pin fall.
After coming back from commercial Shad formerly of Cryme Tyme came out and talked about something I actually didn't know about because I missed last week's Smackdown, that being that Cryme Tyme is broken up hopefully this will be the beginning of his serious singles career in the WWE as he is a talented performer. I also think that it would be beneficial to have a Shad/JTG feud as the two have great chemistry in the ring.
The next match up of the night featured the Intercontinental champion, the chosen one Drew McIntyre pitted against the ever underrated Matt Hardy. As the heart and soul of Smackdown takes control early and having absolutely no problem getting the crowd behind him, the tide turns as the Scottish superstar becomes the aggressor. Ultimately it was McIntyre who was the victor winning by pin fall after doing the Future Shock DDT on Hardy outside the ring and rolling him back in.
The Straight Edge Savior CM Punk in his home town of Chicago comes out with Luke Gallows and Serena members of the Straight Edge Society. Punk attempts to pledge his NXT rookie Darren Young into the Straight Edge Society, Young decides not to join the SES and as Punk and The Society attack and attempt to shave Young's head Rey Mysterio comes out and saves the jungle hair of Darren Young. Rey also accepts CM Punk's challenge for a match at Extreme Rules in which if Punk loses he will have his head shaved, building one of the best rivalries going right now up even further as they approach Pay Per View.
After this we get to see some of WWE's tag team action between The Dudebusters (Trent Barreta and Caylen Croft) and The Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd and D.H. Smith) with Natalya. In this match we see a great example of the new generation of WWE superstars with high impact moves and a fast match pace. This match just displays 4 athletes who show a very promising future in the ring. The Hart Dynasty came up victorious after D.H. Smith(the son of Davey Boy Smith) submitted barreta with the Sharpshooter as made popular by his uncle Bret Hart.
In one of the coolest WWE promo's in a while Dolph Ziggler put Josh Mathews to sleep after being asked how it felt to put The Great Khali to sleep last week.
In the main event of the night Edge and Jericho have a match to see who gets a shot at Jack Swagger's World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules. The two have as good a match as you can have on smackdown with a thousand commercial interruptions. The match ends in a double count out meaning no one knows who will face Swagger at Extreme Rules.
It comes to no surprise to me that it was almost a complete chore to watch the entire show and type this review with the least amount of bias possible, it is safe to say that as far as the WWE goes this week Superstars was the best show. This is sad as in Superstars is only an hour long and they put their undercard/midcard guys on there, step it up WWE.

"It's still real to me dammit"

Superstars 4/8/2010
Tonight on WWE Superstars they started out with diva's action, when Michelle McCool, Layla, and probably the most annoying female character to ever be on wrestling Vickie Guerrero came out and began to talk smack about one of the most unique woman's wrestler to come out in past years Beth Phoenix, calling her a man and making fun of her masculine physique right before Layla was set to face off with the Glamazon in singles competition. Needless to say McCool and Guerrero got involved with the match but it was a minor set back for the powerful and lovely Beth Phoenix as she did come up victorious in the match.
The second match of the night pits raw superstars in tag team action, Evan Bourne and Yoshi Tatsu faced off against Zack Ryder and Chavo Guerrero, in the best match of the night possibly the week with Bourne and Tatsu coming up with the victory after both teams work so cohesively together in a classic display of high impact wrestling.
In the main event of the evening MVP faced off with Carlito in a very boring match compared to past matches these superstars have competed in, I expected more from two seasoned performers such as MVP and Carlito.

NXT-4/6/2010
Before I review this week's episode of NXT let me just get a few of my bias's out in the open, being a fan of ROH I believe that Daniel Bryan(Bryan Danielson) is the only competitor on the show that actually deserves the prize that the winner of NXT will receive and also I hate Skip Shepfeild, Heath Slater, and Gay List David Otunga not because of there wrestling abilities, they all three have skill but I do not like their gimmicks as of yet.
That being said tonight was a disappointing episode of NXT, first a keg carrying contest in which the winner faces kane was won by The One Man Rock Band Heath Slater. Then the matches were uniteresting and the commentary of Michael Cole is unbearable if future episodes aren't better I will not review this show long.

Ring Of Honor- Big Bang 2010
I am about to attempt to put words to the performance I witnessed on April 3rd at the Grady Cole center in Charlotte NC put on by the wrestlers of the Ring of Honor promotion's Big Bang 2010 iPPV including results to each match.
The opening contest of the night was a match between Carolina wrestlers NWA National Champion Phil Shatter and Zack Salvation. I have had the pleasure of watching these guys perform before and I can say much like the other matches I've seen them in they put on a great showcase of their individual talents, with Phil Shatter defeating Salvation by way of pinfall.
The second match, a pick six match, between Kenny King and Davey Richards was an exciting display of not only innovative grappling and high impact technical wrestling but a great match playing to the resiliency and endurance of both King and Richards with Richards winning by submission and taking the number 5 spot in the pick six. After the match Christopher Daniels made his return to the Ring of Honor confronting and challenging Richards to a match.
The next match up of the night was our Butcher's Rules match, in which Necrobutcher would face off with embassy member Erick Stevens accompanied to the ring by Prince Nana in one of the least brutal matches the butcher has ever been in no staple gun no thumb tacks no blood just a section b sign and chant to go along with it disappointed it wasn't more violent but entertained overall with Necrobutcher winning via pinfall.
Then in a taste of lucha libre, Cassandro El Exotico faced off with Rhett Titus, pinning him to gain the win but gaining an injury to his leg in the process.
In our fifth match we saw the ever charismatic team of Colt Cabana and El Generico compete against Kevin Steen and Mr Wrestling III, The King of Old School, Steve Corino in a very entertaining grudge match in which Cabana and Generico defeated Steen and Corino. After the match Steen and Corino continue to beat Cabana, busting him open and causing the rampage of El Generico in which no victim was spared, ultimately ending with Grizzly Redwood eating one of Generico's famous brainbustaaaas and Cabana announcing that they would face off with Steen and Corino again on April 24 in a Chicago street fight.
The Briscoe Brothers lost their ROH tag team titles in the most grueling hard hitting matches of the night against The Kings of Wrestling Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli.
Tyler Black successfully defended his ROH World Title against Roderick Strong and Austin Aries in a three way dance first eliminating Strong then with assistance from Strong eliminating Aries.
We were the first fans to show up at the Grady Cole Center on this day and we were among the last to leave we arrived before many wrestlers even did, assisting Necrobutcher in finding where he was supposed to go and getting to meet and hang out with The Briscoe's, Colt Cabana and Necrobutcher also receiving props from Prince Nana for being the rowdiest fans of the night. We came equipted with signs(including; It's still real to me dammit,Fuck ICP and everyone who looks like ICP(which Jim Cornet got a kick out of) and GAMBIT 3:16) and ready to chant anything we felt this hands down was the best wrestling show I have ever been to.

TNA Budget Cut Rumors and RIP Kanyon
For those of you who didn't know former WWE and WCW superstar Chris Kanyon committed suicide this past Friday by overdosing on pills, his talent will be remembered in the wrestling community
The Rumors are that due to budget cuts several wrestlers have been released from TNA wrestling including Christopher Daniels, Apollo Creed, and The Nasty Boys. The Nasty Boys I agree with letting them go and keeping someone you need, but Daniels and Creed should not have been released. Instead in my opinion Bubba the waste of money love sponge and Orlando Jordan and his blatant Lady Gaga inspired gimmick should have be released instead of Creed and Daniels, simply because they are annoying gimmicks with no real importance.

Monday Night War/Top Ten Underutilized Tallent 4-5-10
TNA Impact- This monday Impact started at 8 instead of nine, I was excited about the special start time at first because I am partial to TNA over WWE but however my excitement was short lived finding out not long after the start that it would not be a three hour episode but a regular two hour episode instead. I believe this was an attempt to get ratings up and not have to directly compete with WWE's RAW show because when TNA was showing Kurt Angle and Ken Anderson(Kennedy) RAW was show the all American lisp Jack Swagger talking with the ever present John Cena and Randy Orton.
Over all in my opinion TNA had the better show, not only do they have great talent but they use it. Opening with the first meeting of all the members of both team flair(Desmond Wolfe, James Storm, Robert Roode, and Sting) and team hogan(Abyss, Jeff Jarret, RVD and Jeff Hardy) who will meet in the return Lethal Lockdown match at the pay per view Lockdown, resulting in an actual match between RVD and Storm in which RVD is victorious using his trademark split moonsault and rolling thunder but storm gets the last laugh when he smashes a beer bottle into the face of RVD.
Then Rob Terry defends his TNA Global Championship against The Notorious 187 Homicide a match in which Homicide wasn't a complete jobber but in order to sell Terry's extreme power house character wasn't allowed many moves, needless to say the massive Rob Terry successfully defended his title, after the match Homicide attacked Terry with a steel chair a blow hard enough to bend the seat of the chair immensely but Terry shook the shot off and choke slammed the notorious 187. After this the very bisexual Orlando Jordan shows up to piss me off by being terribly gay, gayer than goldust ever dreamed of being and spraying what appeared to be yogurt all over his chest and partially on his face I'm guessing to insinuate sperm this though brief was the second worst moment of the show I'll get to the first one later.
Next would be the Knockouts Lockbox Match, this match concept is one of my favorite women match stipulations of all time, two teams of four knockouts enter the match one team consisting of The Beautiful People(Madison Rain, Velvet Skye and Lacy Von Erich) and Daffney, and the other of ODB, Tara, Angelina Love, and Hamada, each time a competitor scores a pinfall the two people involved are eliminated from the match the winner of the fall getting a key to unlock one of four boxes containing prizes such as The Knockouts Title, Tara's Spider Poison, an open contract for a match and a striptease which is more of a prize for us. Tara, Angelina Love, Daffney and Velvet Skye are the winners of this contest and the boxes are opened near the end of the broadcast.
Here we are rounding into the nine o'clock mark time for RAW to start and in a genius maneuver TNA places the most highly anticipated match of the night at this spot on the card. The match I'm referring to is of course Mr Anderson vs Kurt Angle in a ladder match in which the winner will have a key to the cage door for they're match at Lockdown, the match is intense and hard hitting TNA is no stranger to having great matches on there TV broadcast, however it had many commercial interruptions that really bugged the hell out of me, the match ends with Anderson choking Angle with his warrior medal chain causing him to pass out and fall from the ladder and enabling Anderson to climb the ladder and grab the key.
Matt Morgan, no doubt one of the best power houses in the company announces that he will continue to defend the TNA tag titles with his new partner... himself. Yes after injuring the partner he originally won the titles with in a one on one match a few weeks ago The Blueprint has decided that he will take on all comers by himself. Which leads to the next match on the card, a number one contender ship match between team 3d aka the Dudley Boys and The Motor City Machine Guns. This match gets to the point where the Dudley's are about to do there signature Dudley death drop on one of the Machine Guns when the band aka the wolf pack(hall, nash, and syxx) along with bubba the wasted money love sponge come out and cause the match to end by disqualification when they attack the dudleys setting up a match for next week's impact between the two teams.
The Pope D'angelo Dinero in an attempt to prove himself to his congregation and himself decides that he will give his title shot at Lockdown to Desmond Wolfe if he can defeat him in their match. In the name of keeping Pope on the roll he is on the outcome is that he defeats Wolfe after which The phenomenal One champion AJ Styles hits the ring and catches the pope with the styles clash, then in the most predictable moment of the night Abyss comes out to the pope's aid which ultimately ends with Wolfe and Styles on top after Wolfe attacks Abyss with a fire extinguisher.
After this match, the main event by the way, the boxes for the knockouts lockbox match were unlocked. The first box was opened by Velvet Skye and it contained the open contract for any match any time with anyone. The Second box opened by Tara contained her annoyingly pointless pet spider Poison, of course this would mean that Tara would no longer be champion. The third and fourth box opened at the same time contained the striptease and the knockouts title, this is where the worst moment of the show happens, Angelina Love opens the box with the title meaning Daffney would have to strip needless to say my dreams would have to just remain dreams as daffney strips she is interrupted by Lacy Von Erich before she can even get her top off, then the fight that erupted between former champion Tara and new champion Love made its way to the ring after which the announcement is made that Velvet Skye is using her open contract to get a shot at the Knockouts title next week on impact. This being the end of the show being kind of a disappointment aside I would have to say this was a three and a half star episode of Impact.
WWE Monday Night RAW- One of the most disappointing episodes of RAW I have ever seen, The night contained its usual short matches and long time wasting promo spots. The show begins with a good wrestler that should never have the microphone Jack Swagger talking about being the new World Heavyweight Champion after cashing in his money in the bank briefcase on last Friday's smackdown against Chris Jericho who had already suffered a beating at the hands of Edge aka the worst face ever. Then for no other reason than Vince McMahon has a gay crush on him the WWE Champion John Cena comes out to make a challenge to the All American Lisp to a match provoking the WWE's apex predator Randy Orton to come out and also challenge Swagger, then out of no where The Miz and Big Show come out (yeah I know what you're thinking too much awesome at one time) and say that they are the only reason people watch the show anyway, which needless to say attracted the nights host gay list David Otunga from NXT to come out and start pretending like he is the booker for the night and make matches like John Cena and Batista(rivals I may add) teaming up against Show Miz, for the Unified Tag Team Titles, and Orton vs Jack Swagger.
Sheamus would take on Kofi Kingston and needless to say defeats him after which beating him with a lead pipe and calling out Triple H who comes out and uses his patented sledge hammer against the Celtic warrior chasing him out of the arena.
Then in contrast to TNA's best woman's match concept is WWE's worst woman's match concept the dress to impress red carpet battle royal in which the RAW diva's wrestled in dresses, the winner was Eve who now gets a shot at the Diva's title held by Maryse.
I refuse to talk about the stupidity that was displayed in the tag team matches of the night because all it was, was a retarded effort to further the feud between Cena and Batista who will have a last man standing match at extreme rules.
Now that we've gotten that out of the way, we can talk about something I'm excited about that happened on this week's RAW, the return of The Million Dollar Title on the arm of Ted Dibiase Jr. and the fact that he beat Christian in the best match of the night in my opinion furthering my theory that he will be built up as a main guy in singles competition.
Randy Orton defeated champion Jack Swagger in a non title match after reversing Jack's signature gutwrench powerbomb into an RKO. The main event was more tag team stupidity featuring the Animal and the gay list, overall RAW was a huge let down this week and how they have such great ratings with an atrocious show like that I have no clue.
Top Ten Most Underutilized Talent
10. Matt Hardy
9. MVP
8. Goldust
7. Shelton Benjamin
6. Raven
5. Kane
4. Jay Lethal
3. Christian

1. Matt Striker
honorable mention- Evan Bourne, Jesse, and Ted Dibiase JR
